Bananas on the Beach

Check-in at Bananas on the Beach begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. Early arrival or late departure can be arranged with reservations in advance, based on availability.

Bananas on the Beach offers early check-in and late check-out when available. There is no additional fee, but requests must be made with the reservations team in advance.

Bananas on the Beach has two seasonal cancellation policies.

January 3 to December 20:
A deposit equal to two nights plus tax is required at booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made 15 or more days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations made within 2 days of arrival, or for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.

December 21 to January 2:
A three-night minimum stay is required. A deposit equal to two nights plus tax is due at booking, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made 30 or more days before arrival receive a full refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations made 29 days or fewer before arrival, or for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures. Approved modifications incur a $30 USD fee.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all reservations.

The front desk at Bananas on the Beach is staffed daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Guests arriving after hours should notify the reservations team in advance so late check-in can be arranged.

Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in at Bananas on the Beach.

Pets are not permitted at Bananas on the Beach. The property does not provide pet-friendly rooms or amenities.

Bananas on the Beach does not offer pet amenities or designated pet areas, as pets are not permitted on the property.

Taxis are available at San Pedro Airport and around town, but Bananas on the Beach notes that rideshare apps such as Uber or Lyft do not operate in Belize.

Bananas on the Beach provides free parking for all registered guests on the property.

Bananas on the Beach does not offer valet service. Guests park their own vehicles in the complimentary on-site lot.

Bananas on the Beach does not have electric vehicle charging stations on the property.

Bananas on the Beach offers shuttle service to and from San Pedro Municipal Airport. The cost is $12.50 USD one way or $25 USD round trip for up to five people. Requests should be made through the reservations team in advance.

Housekeeping service is provided daily at Bananas on the Beach, with the option to request reduced service if preferred.

Bananas on the Beach offers a range of renovated accommodations, from studios to multi-bedroom suites. Options include:

• Courtyard Studio: For up to 2 guests, with one king bed or two twin beds.
• Courtyard Suite: One bedroom with a king bed and sofa bed, suitable for 2 adults and 1 child.
• Oceanfront Suite: One bedroom with a king bed and sofa bed, with space for 2 adults and 1 child.
• Oceanfront Deluxe Suite: One bedroom with a king bed and sofa bed, designed for 2 adults and 1 child.

Bananas on the Beach provides accessible room access with elevators and ramps. Please note that bathrooms are not equipped with roll-in showers or full accessibility features.

Bananas on the Beach does not allow pets in any of its accommodations.

All accommodations at Bananas on the Beach include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout Bananas on the Beach, including all rooms and public areas.

All rooms at Bananas on the Beach are equipped with air conditioning. Heating is not needed in Belize’s tropical climate.

Bananas on the Beach provides Pack and Play cribs upon request. Rollaway beds are not available, but many suites include pull-out sofas. An additional charge of $30 USD plus tax applies per night for guests age 13 and older.

Bananas on the Beach features two on-site dining options: Monkey Joe’s Pool Bar and Gonzalo’s and the Princess, a full-service restaurant open for dinner.

Room service is available at Bananas on the Beach, with orders delivered directly from the on-site restaurant and bar.

Gonzalo’s and the Princess is open for dinner service daily. Monkey Joe’s Pool Bar serves drinks and light bites throughout the day. Room service is also available during restaurant operating hours.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate at Bananas on the Beach, but it is available for purchase as an add-on or during your stay.

Bananas on the Beach recommends nearby dining such as Seasalt Restaurant, Frenchy’s, and The Baker. Guests can also enjoy Gonzalo’s and the Princess, located on-site.

Bananas on the Beach has two outdoor swimming pools. Both are non-heated and available year-round.
